Dr. Omosule (Dr. O) is a double-board certified physician (in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine). Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Dr. Omosule is proud to bring his pain management expertise to the residents in the area.
He received his medical degree from University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2011, and practiced as a primary care physician in Lagos, Nigeria for three years. He subsequently obtained a Master of Health Administration at the Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green KY before completing his Anesthesiology residency training at the Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit MI.
Dr. Omosule excelled academically during his residency, with outstanding scholastic performance on the board exams. He was awarded Henry Ford Star in September 2020 for providing extraordinary patient care & going above and beyond in support of peers/colleagues. He went on to Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore MD for his fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management. He has published in several reputable medical journals and contributed to book chapters on topics in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Omosule provides exceptional pain management care for patients suffering from spinal stenosis, sciatica pain, chronic low back pain, neck pain, painful diabetic neuropathy, complex regional pain syndrome, persistent pain after spine surgery, neuropathic pain affecting peripheral nerves and osteoarthritis involving multiple joints. He delivers several treatment modalities, including epidural injections, joint injections, peripheral nerve blocks, radio frequency ablation, MILD procedure for spinal stenosis and neuromodulation therapies including Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) and Peripheral Nerve Stimulations (PNS).
Dr. Omosule is a strong proponent of providing safe, effective, and empathetic care options to patients experiencing chronic pain. He is a member of the Spine Intervention Society (SIS), American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA Pain Medicine), North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS) and the American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA).
