Dr. Lawson holds an honors degree in electrical engineering from Duke University and attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, where she was awarded a prestigious scholarship and was accepted to the residency program in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. She then completed a fellowship in otology at the Minnesota Ear Institute with Dr. Michael Paparella, receiving advanced training in ear surgery.
In addition to her special expertise at ear surgery, Dr. Lawson is an expert practitioner of the broad range of general ear, nose, and throat medicine and surgery. Dr. Lawson holds privileges at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Franklin Square Medical Center, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, and St. Joseph Medical Center.
