Dr. Hoyt was born and raised in Connecticut. He graduated summa cum laude from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. He then graduated from the Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham as well. During that time he completed a research fellowship involving head and neck malignancies. He is board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He has practiced in Bel Air, Maryland since 1995, and he lives in Fallston with his wife and three daughters.
